To our community and token holders,
This notice follows our previous updates on the cybersecurity incident of 24 May 2026 affecting EURR and USDR, most recently our notification of the 19th October 2026.
Status
The incident remains contained, and there has been no further unauthorised minting of EURR or USDR. As noted in our previous updates, minting and redemption of EURR and USDR remain temporarily suspended.
Reserve assets
The reserve assets backing lawfully issued EURR and USDR continue to be held in segregated accounts, separate from StablR’s own funds, in accordance with MiCAR.
Way Forward
To date, all action taken by the Company in relation to the incident has been under the oversight and in constant communication with the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA).
At this juncture, the shareholders of the Company have considered the Company’s financial and operational position, including that its issuance and redemption activities remain suspended and its operations remain limited. Having assessed the Company’s position and advice received, the shareholders believe that a viable restart or recovery of the Company’s business cannot realistically be achieved.
In view of this, the shareholders have formally and unanimously resolved by way of an extraordinary resolution passed at an extraordinary general meeting held on the 3rd November 2026, to seek the dissolution and consequent winding-up of the Company through the Maltese Civil Court (Commercial Section), after having received the MFSA’s approval to proceed in this manner.
A court application was filed with the Civil Court (Commercial Section) on 6th November 2026. The Company now awaits further direction from the Court on who will be managing the affairs of the Company in the interim.
Further updates will thus be provided by the liquidator following his appointment by the Court.
What this means for token holders
Claims by holders of EURR and USDR will be addressed in the winding-up process under the supervision of the Civil Court (Commercial Section), which will issue directions for the orderly winding-up and liquidation of the Company.
You do not need to take any action at this stage. We do, however, recommend that you keep records of your EURR and USDR holdings, such as wallet addresses and transaction history, as these may be useful when the claims process opens. We advise you not to transfer your tokens to other wallets unless requested during the redemption process.
Beware of scams
Following announcements of this kind, fraudsters often pose as the company, its liquidator or “recovery services” and offer to help token holders recover or redeem their tokens. Please be aware that neither the Company nor the liquidator will ever:
ask for your private keys, seed phrase or wallet passwords;
ask you to send money or funds to any address;
contact you through unsolicited direct messages on social media or messaging apps.
Official updates will be published only on stablr.com and official channels, and later by the liquidator through the channels they announce.
Until a liquidator is appointed, queries may be sent to info@stablr.com
